Bruce McKinney

Bruce McKinney attended Florida College between 1989 and 1991, and is the single game assist leader (with 20) and captain of the Florida College Falcons basketball team. Coach McKinney transferred to the University of Tampa in 1991 to further both his education and basketball career. Coach McKinney returned to Conn Gymnasium in 2005 to assist Coach Mitchell and Asst. Coach Stewart in leading FC's basketball team. Coach McKinney is married to FC classmate Shannon (Reames) and they have two boys, Mason and Colton.

Derek Stewart

Derek Stewart took on the role of assistant coach for the Florida College men’s basketball team in 2004. Coach Stewart graduated from Leto High School in Tampa in 1991 and the University of South Florida in 1996. He was also the boys’ head basketball coach at Leto for the six seasons. Coach Stewart has a wife (Shelley) a daughter (Echo) and a son (Reign).
