Head Coach Robb Mitchell

Robb Mitchell began full-time coaching at FC in 2002, taking over for Kenny Moorer who remains as Athletic Director. Mitchell grew up in the Tampa area, attending Chamberlain High School, where he played on the basketball team. Mitchell is a Florida College alumnus (’91) and played on the basketball team while a student here. He married fellow alumna Michelle (Haley) (’90). They have two children. Mitchell's worked as assistant coach at Hillsborough Community College and as assistant to the head coach at Wharton High School. “Florida College is a great fit for a player who is concerned about character and academics as well as playing against quality basketball competition,” he says.
