B.A. in Biblical Studies

The Biblical Studies program at Florida College is rooted in the rich liberal arts tradition that is the foundation of the Associate of Arts degree program. The program offers students intensive examination of biblical texts, languages, and history, as well as systems of religious thought and the history of religious movements. Like the A.A. program, the upper-division program in Biblical Studies takes full advantage of the unique benefits of the College, with its focus on godly living and its emphasis on understanding all disciplines in light of the Bible.

A degree in Biblical Studies:

• trains students who are preparing themselves to preach the gospel
• provides valuable knowledge for future Bible class teachers, future elders, future parents, and for all Christians
• prepares students for careers in teaching or human relations
• prepares students for graduate study, not only in Biblical Studies, but also in disciplines such as business, communications, education, law, library science, or humanities
