Aid for Florida Residents

Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG)

This program provides tuition assistance to full-time students from Florida attending private, independent colleges and universities located in the state. Students who have been residents of Florida for other than educational purposes for at least twelve consecutive months may be eligible for the grant. This program provides approximately $2500 per academic year, subject to state budget appropriations.

Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program is an excellent scholarship opportunity for Florida high school students with a good academic record. Depending on your academic performance, this scholarship is a fixed award amount based on 100% or 75% of the average tuition and fees covered at a comparable Florida public institution.

Florida Pre-paid College Program

This program was designed initially for Florida public colleges and universities but has been expanded to include Florida College. For more information call the Florida College Pre-Paid program at 800.552.4723.

Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG)

This need-based grant provides approximately $200- $1000 per academic year, subject to state budget appropriations. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply. It is recommended that the application be completed prior to May 15th, as these funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
