Labor Camp 2007
It was a week of hard work and camaraderie, a week of friendship and fun, a week for volunteer alumni and friends from across the country to make our campus even better. They came ready to work, and work they did. Trees and shrubs have been groomed, the Riverwalk and several campus buildings have been pressure washed, and many rooms were treated to a fresh coat of paint, including rooms in the boys’ residence halls as well as the spacious and now even more beautiful lobby of Sutton Hall. After the sun went down everyone enjoyed a respite from the day’s work, sharing their meals together, singing, and opening their Bibles in devotion.

The annual Labor Camp, typically held in the third week of June, is open to all alumni and friends who wish to participate. It is one of the many ways to give to Florida College with something other than money and it is a great way to enjoy the company of some of the finest people on earth. Every volunteer is treated to private accommodations in Hinely Hall and free meals in the cafeteria. If you would like to join us for next year’s Labor Camp, contact Ralph Walker at walkerr@floridacollege.edu or give us a call toll-free at 1.800.326.7655 and ask to talk to Ralph.
