Music and Theater

At Florida College, students with a desire to act, sing, or perform experience an enormous variety of opportunities. Veteran performers and aspiring amateurs have an equal shot. If you’ve got talent, ambition, or just a lot of heart—you’ll find a stage to sing or shout it out at FC.

• The Chorus performs on campus throughout the year, and takes an annual tour every spring.
• There are exciting Theater productions every semester, including the popular spring musical, fall play, and the occasional murder mystery. FC draws audiences from across the state.
• The The FC Friends are the premiere popular music group on campus, performing locally and around the country on an annual tour.
• From classical to jazz, FC’s Instrumental Ensembles have it all. The symphonic band takes an annual tour, and other groups perform on and off campus throughout the year.

Students who prefer the front row to the spotlight can enjoy each of the shows and concerts above, as well as attend the many programs sponsored by the Florida College Life Enrichment Series. Musicians, guest speakers, and people of various talents come to FC throughout the school year to exhibit their mastery.
