Experience Parent Weekend at Florida College

Join us for a celebration of Family, Faith, and Future! Parent Weekend is designed to honor the vital role that family plays in our students’ lives. This special event invites you as a parent into the heart of the Florida College community, connecting you with our campus culture, shared faith, and the exciting paths our students are pursuing. Experience Florida College with your favorite people and see firsthand how your student’s journey is unfolding!

Register for Parent Weekend

The next Parent Weekend event is scheduled for
January 29- January 31, 2026.
This event is reserved for parents of current Florida College students. Your student is welcome to join you for the weekend’s events.

Registration opens November 1 and closes January 15, 2026.

Cost: $50 per parent/guardian, $25 per additional minor

What’s Included:

    • 3 meals on Friday (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
    • 1 free coffee from the Coffey House
    • Breakfast on Saturday

Special Opportunities:

    • Brunch with President Dr. Weaver
    • Unique time with faculty and staff
    • Opportunities to attend classes with your student
    • Homecoming festivities

Thursday, Jan. 29

  • 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Check-in at the Pouch
  • 5:00 PM: Dinner with your student (on your own)
  • 7:30 PM: Spring Musical Performance $ (optional)

Friday, Jan. 30

  • 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Check-in (if didn’t check in yesterday)
  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Brunch with Dr. Weaver (RSVP required)
  • 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Attend Classes with your student (optional)
  • 10:15 AM: Chapel
  • 10:45 AM – 11:15 AM: Family Photo Opportunity
  • 11:00 AM: Campus Tours Available (RSVP encouraged)
  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Optional Lunch in Henderson Dining Hall
  • 1:00 PM: Clifton Strengths & Career Panels (RSVP encouraged)
  • 2:00 PM: Faculty Lecture by Peter Murphy (RSVP encouraged)
  • 3:00 PM: Tours of new degree programs spaces (RSVP required)
  • 4:00 PM: Open Office Hours for Financial Aid, Advising, etc.
  • 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Tailgating/Food Trucks at Conn Gymnasium (RSVP required)
  • 7:00 PM: Homecoming game $ (optional) or Spring Musical Performance $ (optional)
  • 30 minutes After the Game: Sowers Singing at the Amphitheater

Saturday, Jan. 31

  • All Day: Family Day: Enjoy Tampa activities & local events
  • Morning: Sacred Selections 5K $ (optional)
  • 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Optional brunch in Henderson Dining Hall
  • 1:00 PM: Spring Musical Performance $ (optional)
  • 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Alumni reunions (optional – Lectures registration required)
  • 7:30 PM: Spring Musical Performance $ (optional) OR Men’s Soccer Alumni game (optional)
