FC SERVES

FC SERVES is Florida College’s outreach initiative that provides opportunities for students to support non-profit organizations in the Tampa Bay Area.

Serving God and Man

As part of our mission to serve God and our fellow man, we believe in service as part of the Florida College experience. Engaging students in participating in community service broadens their world view and prepares them for a lifestyle of Christ-centered service and leadership after college. We are proud to live and serve the Tampa Bay Area.

Our Projects for 2023-2024

Every semester, students have the opportunity to sign up for monthly service projects with various non-profits in the Tampa Bay Area. FC SERVES regularly participates in serving lunch to the underfed through Trinity Cafe, hosting clothing drives, donating blood, volunteering at local elementary schools and showing gratitude to public servants.

Serving and volunteering teaches us as FC students that there is a much bigger community around us that needs help, and that we have the ability to give help that’s needed. Our service is important for many reasons, but especially because it brings the light of Jesus into our community.

Questions?

Contact CarrieAnn Moseley, FCServes Coordinator, for more information.

The mission of Florida College includes the practice of serving God and man. When we see neighbors in need, our response is to help as we can. Our engagement with local nonprofits does not mean we endorse all that each organization stands for.
