The Florida College Honors Program Inducts Its Newest Cohort
November 17, 2022
The Florida College Honors Programs inducts its newest cohort. The Honors Program at Florida College seeks to provide opportunities for high achieving students to enhance their education through service and academics. As members of the program, students participate in in-depth research studies and presentations, community engagement projects, and summer internships and professional development events.
“I’m planning on going to grad school to get my MBA after I finish at Florida College. The Honors Program has helped me learn how to research, compile data, and present it in an understandable fashion. It’s also a great resume builder and a great way to showcase your gifts,” says current senior, Seth Kemple.
In order to be considered for the program, each student must submit a cover letter, an essay, two letters of recommendation, and maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA on at least 14 academic hours at Florida College. Upon acceptance, members receive a scholarship for each semester and invaluable experience preparing academic portfolios and leading through service with peers who share the same faith and similar aspirations and goals.
