Mascot Code of Conduct
- While in costume, the mascot WILL:
- Be energetic and spirited- give high fives, engage with others, entertain
- Be careful of surroundings
- Be respectful of others’ space, body language, and reactions- engage with those who want attention; don’t pursue interaction with someone who doesn’t want it.
- While in costume, the mascot WILL NOT:
- Talk to anyone except the designated handler at any event.
- Make inappropriate body movements or gestures
- Touch a child or minor without parent/guardian present.
- Touch another mascot- pretend fighting is okay without contact.
Falcon Costume Care
- PLEASE DO NOT WASH- there is a special cleaning process that the renter is not responsible for; if the suit is damaged during the renter’s use, the renter will be responsible.
- Please replace the costume back in it’s appropriate place.
- Return the suit within 24 hours of rental time, unless otherwise agreed upon by the renter and Jean Crispell.
Rental Agreement Terms
- All rentals are first come, first served. To assure availability, request your rental 1 week prior to your event.
- All renters must be employees of the college. Only student workers and employees may wear the costume.
- The renter is responsible for the suit during the rental period requested; if damaged during the period, the renter is responsible for the cost of repairs.
- Any cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event to crispellj@floridacollege.edu
- A $50 late fee will be charged to the renter if the suit is returned late.
