A parent or chaperone will be required to attend with each student. A current student cannot be a chaperone.

*Sophomores can attend our spring ExperienceFC events, while juniors and seniors are welcome at all ExperienceFC events.

Why Attend Experience FC

There is no substitute for seeing campus life in action. Experience FC is a one-day event that gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to participate in an authentic campus visit, with a special focus on personal connection and real student experience.

By spending a day on campus, students can see what daily life at Florida College looks like. From joining current students in class to connecting with professors and staff, each part of the event is designed to help visitors explore whether FC feels like the right place to continue their academic and spiritual journey.

A traditional tour can show you the layout of campus, but this on-campus visit allows for something more. Through direct interaction and hands-on activities, Experience FC offers valuable insight into what it means to be a student at Florida College.

Experience FC Frequently Asked Questions

Who Can Attend Experience FC?
- Experience FC is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Sophomores are invited to attend our spring events, while juniors and seniors may attend in either the fall or spring. Each student must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. Please note that current Florida College students cannot serve as chaperones.
How Is Experience FC Different From A Standard Campus Visit?
- While a regular campus tour provides a general overview of our campus, Experience FC is a full-day program that gives prospective students a deeper look into the student experience. You will attend real classes, hear from faculty, take a guided tour, and learn more about the academic and social opportunities available at Florida College.
Is Registration Required?
- Yes. All guests must register online in advance to attend. Registration typically closes two weeks before each scheduled event. We recommend registering early, as availability is limited.
How Much Does Experience FC Cost?
- The registration fee is $35 per student and includes one parent or chaperone at no additional charge. The fee must be paid online during the registration process, and registration is not complete until payment is received and confirmed via email. Refunds will not be given if canceled less than 7 business days prior to the event.
Will Overnight Accommodations Be Provided?
- Overnight stays in campus housing are not available during Experience FC. However, several local hotels offer discounted rates for attendees such as the Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn. Guests may also consider other lodging options, such as Airbnb, for their stay.
What Should Students Expect During The Day?
- Students will experience a variety of activities, including attending a chapel service, taking a personal tour of campus, sitting in on a class, and speaking with faculty, staff, and current students. The day is designed to provide a well-rounded introduction to the Florida College community.
Can I Speak With Someone About Admission Or Financial Aid While On Campus?
- Yes. Admission and financial aid staff will be available during Experience FC to answer your questions, provide materials, and walk you through the next steps in the application process.
Event Guidelines
- A parent or chaperone will be required to attend with each student. We know that some camp and chapter groups will bring groups, but they will still be required to accompany the students they are bringing. A current student can’t be a chaperone.
- To receive a high school excuse letter and event t-shirt, attendance at Friday’s events throughout the day is mandatory.
- Attendees must adhere to the dress code stated in the student handbook.
