That’s why we offer the CliftonStrengths assessment—a tool that helps you discover your natural abilities. Unlike many assessments that focus on weaknesses, CliftonStrengths highlights what you do best.

Our goal is for every student to understand their unique strengths, equipped to serve God and others with confidence. At Florida College, we believe that uncovering these God-given talents at a young age prepares students for a purposeful future—one of meaningful work, deeper service, and a clearly defined path.

Ready to Take Your Clifton Strengths Assessment

Florida College provides the Clifton Strengths assessment free to all students. This valuable tool will help you understand your strengths and how to leverage them effectively in coursework, campus organizations, interview preparation, and beyond. We encourage you to approach the assessment thoughtfully and seriously.

For New Students

New students will receive an email with instructions to complete the Clifton Strengths assessment before their first year begins. Set aside 30 minutes in a quiet space to complete the assessment.

Tips to help you obtain the most accurate results:

  • Try not to overthink, just go with your instincts.
  • Choose statements you feel most intensely about, not worrying about what others may think.
  • Choose based on your current experiences and thoughts, not a future ideal you.
  • Avoid choosing neutral on the scale too many times, as too much neutrality can make the results less reliable.
