Bringing Christ-Centered Values into Marketing: Macie Stockton (’24) at OptSpot

November 3, 2025 | 1-2 min read

In her very first all-company meeting at OptSpot, Macie Stockton (’24) noticed something she didn’t expect. Leaders and teammates spoke openly about their faith, weaving biblical principles into everyday conversations. For Macie, it was confirmation that she had found more than just a job—she had found a workplace that aligned with her values.

Now serving as a Jr. Digital Marketing Coordinator, Macie helps OptSpot deliver creative digital solutions for car washes nationwide.

“What I love about OptSpot is truly summed up in the motto—Work Hard. Play Hard. No Drama,” she said.

In just a few short months, she’s already seen that culture in action, from team calls that begin with celebrating wins to the strong sense of integrity that guides decision-making.

Florida College prepared her well for this kind of environment.

“Mrs. Roxanne Wilson had us work with external clients on various marketing projects. These projects were about solving real-world problems in our local community. At the end, we would present our final product, which gave me projects to add to my portfolio and helped me stand out in interviews.”

Those real-world experiences, combined with the connections and support she found on campus, equipped her to step confidently into her career.

Her involvement at FC also shaped her leadership and teamwork skills. Macie was part of KO all four years, joined the Florida College Business Association, and helped launch the American Marketing Association chapter, serving as President in its first full academic year. Each experience taught her the value of working together toward a shared mission.

“Florida College gave me the academic experience and platform to visibly show what I learned. Being able to take what I was working on in the classroom and do a project with an external client gave me that real-world experience many companies are looking for when hiring.”

Today, Macie is grateful for the chance to grow professionally in a Christ-centered workplace—something she first experienced and cherished as part of the Florida College community.
