Florida College Elects Four New Members to the Board of Directors

Florida College is pleased to announce the appointment of Annette Cox, Todd Cox, Brent Romine, and Pam Stewart to the College’s Board of Directors beginning May 2023.

“Each new Board member brings leadership experiences that will enhance the Board’s governance of Florida College,” observed Dr. John Weaver, President of Florida College. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve with these extraordinary men and women in pursuit of our unique and vital mission at Florida College.”

The four new board members include:

Annette Cox

Prospect, KY

Ms. Annette Cox was a Papa John’s franchisee and served in numerous corporate roles.  She has also served on the Boards of numerous organizations such as the University of Louisville Board of Trustees, the Cerebral Palsy K.I.D.S. Center and the Parklands of Floyd’s Fork and School Choice Scholarships.

Todd Cox

Georgetown, TX

Mr. Todd Cox is the owner of Mustang Plumbing and AMS Manufacturing in the Austin area. He also serves on the Board of Sacred Selections and Cedar Park Friends Foundation.

Brent Romine

Huntsville, AL

Dr. Brent Romine attended Florida College.  Romine is one of the founders of nou Systems, Inc., a high-tech company that provides products and services to various government and commercial clients.  He also serves on the Board of Merit Bank, a community bank in Huntsville.

Pam Stewart

Fernandina Beach, FL

Mrs. Pam Stewart is currently the Executive Director of the Florida Association of IB World Schools. She has also served as the Florida Commissioner of Education.  Mrs. Stewart also attended Florida College.

“We are delighted to add these four new directors to our Board at Florida College,” said Craig Hodges, Chair of the Board. “Each looks forward to serving the students, faculty, and staff. Our Board is as strong as ever, with superb skills and experience. I look forward to serving with these four and all the current directors to fulfill our mission to prepare students to serve their Creator and humanity.”

With the addition of these new members, the Florida College Board of Directors is made up of 20 members, representing eight states.
