Kate Boatright (’24): Building a Career on Faith and Marketing Skills
November 3, 2025| 1-2 min read
When Kate Boatright walked across the stage in 2024 with a marketing degree from Florida College, she carried more than just a diploma; she carried a mission. Today, that mission shines through in her role as a Social Media Specialist at A Nice Guy Marketing, where she combines creativity, strategy, and her faith-driven values to make a difference for businesses.
Kate especially enjoys the problem-solving side of her work: diving into data, researching ad strategies, and finding small adjustments that spark big results. Just as rewarding, she says, is the chance to collaborate with a team that shares her morals.
“It makes the work experience not only professional, but uplifting,” Kate explains.
The flexibility of remote work has also been a blessing, giving her space to grow personally and professionally.
Looking ahead, Kate hopes to keep sharpening her skills in campaign development, ad strategy, and platform best practices. She recently earned her Meta Digital Marketing Associate certification and views it as a step toward her larger goal: using marketing to connect people and help businesses thrive.
Kate credits Florida College with giving her both practical skills and a faith-centered foundation.
“The mission of FC, along with the example of my professors, taught me more than any textbook could about the kind of professional I want to be,” she reflects.
From real-world marketing projects to the Falcon Challenge, Kate learned the importance of teamwork, creativity, and servant leadership.
While learning at FC, simulations and group projects made learning meaningful and fun, but her FC experience helped her build friendships she’ll carry for years. Kate left Florida College with more than a degree; she left with a foundation for a purposeful career and life.
