Florida College produces musicals, fully staged plays, one-act festivals, Madrigal Dinners, film festivals, musical revues, and even some concert versions of musicals. All students have the opportunity to get involved!
Students interested in theater can join Footlighters, a faculty-sponsored student organization that produces the “One Act Festival” as well as a full length play every year. Members of Footlighters help with all productions. As a group, they attend theater workshops and enjoy local musicals and shows.
For those interested in theater as part of their study, we suggest you consider a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Music.
Any student interested in theater for class credit can take Stage Production Lab or Theater Performance Lab where you receive college credit as you work and perform in our productions.
